Ba'el Korr is a human in most respects. His father had been another rejected genetic test subject of the shadow corporation known as Binring Bio-Medical Products, and had fathered a child to Sadria Korr before being killed on a mission for the Empire. Ba'el grew up never knowing his true nature, or that of his father who had been a Human / Selonian cross breed. For the most part he appears human, but upon closer inspection a very light covering of fur adorns his pale skin, long claw-like nails on his hands, and a mixture of black and yellow eyes.
Ba'el grew up on Chandrila, but relocated to Cochran when he became of age and joined the Griffon Armada. He moved slowly thought the ranks and was considered to be an excellent captain. Early in his career he was given the reigns of a small division of anti-smuggling marines within the Griffon Auxiliaries. Later he was given command of the Carrack-class cruiser Admiral Rishar. In the years to pass Ba'el was promoted to Admiral and later elected as Armiger by the Griffon Alliance Ruling Council.
After a term of servitude Ba'el stepped down as Armiger and took up the title of Chief Intelligence officer, where he would regularly go undercover using the name Tek Ooloris. His service to the Griffon Alliance ended in 13 ABY when Ba'el Korr retired to live on Cochran. He is presumed dead, unaccounted for after the Empire's Desolation of Cochran.
